Pumpkin Patch
Yesterday was nice and warm so we packed up the kids and drove out to the pumpkin patch! This is the same pumpkin patch we visited last year. We had such a good time that we just knew we would be back!
Kensley still really enjoyed the train ride around the farm.

Rowan loved watching her ride and waived at her as she passed.
The corn filled sandbox was a big hit with both of them
Kensley went all the way through the maze this time!
She also loved all of the animals
They had a cute little town set up too.
My girl is getting so big...
Our perfect pumpkin!

Boo @ The Zoo
Today we went to Boo at the Zoo. This was Kensley's 3rd trip and by far this was the most fun she had but also the most fun we had with her. She has been so excited for Halloween this year. She decided that she wanted to be a bumble bee early on and wouldn't be swayed into anything else. She has been walking around our house talking about going "trick-or-treating" almost nonstop. So she was very excited to be able to trick-or-treat, but also to get to go to the "zoop."
Here she is right at the beginning of the zoo in the penguin exhibit.
Rowan was not thrilled with having to sit in the stroller for most of the zoo.
Waiting in line for candy.
She yelled, "Look Mommy! He's SCARY!" haha
She was so very excited...
And let's not forget my sweet little monkey
Boo at the zoo is such a nice, safe way for kids to trick-or-treat all while getting to walk the zoo and see animals. We love it and can't wait to go again next year!

Roasting Hot Dogs and Marshmallows
Since this will probably be one of the last nice weekends of the year, my grandparents had us down for a bonfire. Kensley ended up having a blast as my grandpa pulled her around the yard by his lawn mower.
Rowan got to ride too, and he waived at everyone as he passed. It was so cute.
I remember being obsessed with bonfires when I was a little kid. I loved cooking my own food and at night getting our sticks to glow and then waiving them around in the air to make patterns. Kensley seems to be just like me. She LOVED cooking her food.
Ro had a good time getting spoiled by gramma
Looks like we need to work on our marshmallow roasting skills!
