Today we headed to a pumpkin patch at a local farm. We wanted to go last year, but we never figured out if there was one close to us. I had found out about this one through a playdate group and we were going to meet up with them but the day didn't work out. Today daddy could come too so we packed up and headed out.
They had a ton of things to do there and Kensley had an absolute ball running and playing all over the farm.
The farm had llamas, cows, chickens, bunnies, turkeys, sheep, goats, ducks, pigs and geese.
There was a huge barn filled with corn for the kids to slide into and play in.
There was a little maze for the smaller kids to go through and a tunnel to crawl. Kensley made it about half way through and then came back out the way she came.
The best part of the pumpkin patch was the one dollar train rides they gave for the kids. We didn't think Kensley would ride on it but when we walked over she went right up to it and tried to climb up in. She waived and yelled, "Bye!" and never looked back. She had a grin on her face from ear to ear the entire time.
We all had a lot of fun and the weather was absolutely perfect. We can't wait to come back next year!
