Boo at the Zoo

This weekend we went to the 2010 annual Boo at the Zoo. We went with our friends Matt and Ashley and their two boys. I was a little worried about the weather because it was supposed to be around 70 degrees, but it ended up being cloudy and perfectly cool. It did start to rain but not until the very end when we were just about ready to go anyway.

Here is Kensley in front of the penguin exhibit. She absolutely refused to wear the hood of her costume till the very end and since it was raining I had my camera packed up. Hopefully I can get one of her with it on when we go trick-or-treating later this week!





Sadly, this is the only pic I got of Rowan. Dave wore him in the Moby sling and he pretty much slept through his first visit to Boo at the Zoo.



K really enjoyed it this year, she wanted to stop and eat each treat after they put it in her pumpkin.





I never thought to take pictures of this, but every treat stop had a theme. There were people from the 50's, old fashioned movie theatre workers, indians, wizard and witches and more.

We had so much fun and it is perfect for little kids. She walked the whole thing and got plenty of treats all while getting to see animals at the zoo as well. We can't wait to go back next year with Rowan and see how much he enjoys it too!
